Stock Administrators work closely with Clinical Prosthetists, making sure adequate stock is on hand to meet forecast requirements, and create stock orders based on estimates from the prosthetists. They also support the Service Coordinators to assist amputees with requests for consumable stock items.

What you will do

Stock Administrators work in the stock room and ensure the smooth and timely flow of stock from prosthetists to patients. This role requires an exceptional level of:

  • accuracy and
  • attention to detail

This is to ensure recording, ordering and receipting of stock is correct and up to date.

Skills and knowledge

Stock Administrators need to have good information technology skills, as they regularly update our patient database and use:

  • Excel spreadsheets and
  • Exonet.

They also identify and recommend stock management improvements to benefit organisational and patient outcomes.

Courses

No qualification is required for the Stock Administrator role, however strong communications skills, and an interest or experience in any of the areas above are beneficial.
