'Once I got going, I never looked back'

Peter Cowan lost his right leg in a hit-and-run accident when he was 15 years old. Today, this champion outrigger canoeist has his sights on competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

"That was really mana-enhancing for me to take something up and get moving again".

 

Between family and training, Peter's story is one of determination, hope and adapting.
